We have been running our First Friday Badminton club for a few months now, and I have to say that, as a business networking event, it seems to be hitting the spot.

Each month we have 30 people attending – and everyone gets to play 5 or 6 Badminton matches with different team mates, against different opposition, and meet business leaders from local companies in the process!

Regular readers of techbytes will know that Internet Explorer 8, Microsoft’s latest web browser, has been available for people to try for some time now. Well, earlier in March, Microsoft launched Internet Explorer 8 in full.

It’s free to download and install from the Microsoft Website, and from the end of April onwards, you should receive your upgrade automatically through your Windows Updates.

Microsoft claim that their new web browser is faster, easier and safer than ever before.  We’ve been using it, and I have to say that they are right.
